Mental Health Skill Building Service (MHSS) provides comprehensive support, training, and assistance to help adolescents and adults with long-term, severe psychiatric disabilities achieve successful community living. Our skilled team assesses each individual’s needs and provides services in any setting to address their community living requirements. Our interventions are specifically designed to develop functional skills, manage out-of-home placement, address inappropriate behaviors, teach activities of daily living, utilize community resources, manage medication and nutrition, and address health and physical needs management. We strive to help individuals progress towards their highest possible level of stability and independence in the least restrictive environment through adaptive functioning skill development.
